Community Outreach
Our Mission: Empowered to Serve
Our purpose is rooted in the two greatest commandments as indicated in Matthew 22:37-39: to be empowered through our vertical relationship with God (Love God) and to empower others through our horizontal relationships (Love Your Neighbor).
Outreach & Community Impact
We demonstrate our love for our neighbors by strengthening them in times of need. Our core outreach commitments include:
Food Security & Basic Needs
- Monthly Community Food Distribution: Providing consistent nutritional support to 180-300 families. Members from the congregation work together to distribute the food. The men’s ministry donations fund this monthly event.
- Quarterly Community Meals: Sharing food and fellowship around a common table. Congregation donate, cook and serve 200 community families twice a year.
- Holiday Giveaways: Distributing turkeys and hams to ensure 180-200 needy families can celebrate the holidays. Congregation, small businesses and church fund the event.
